Tuition and Financial Assistance
Achieve more with financial assistance.
Palm Beach Day Academy is committed to enrolling and graduating stellar students from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives. Such a commitment strengthens the educational experience for the individual and for the community. Through our financial assistance program, PBDA seeks to offer access and opportunity to qualified students from a broad socio-economic background with demonstrated financial need.
Need-based financial assistance bridges the gap between what a family can afford and the cost of tuition. Financial assistance is determined through the analysis of a family’s financial resources, including income and assets. FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment conducts the financial need analysis for Palm Beach Day Academy.
Families that have a need for financial assistance must complete an application and submit the necessary supporting documentation to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment by Feb. 1, 2019 to receive first priority relative to aid dollars available. Families may apply online here. The website will begin accepting applications for the 2019-2020 school year on December 1, 2018.
Once an application has been completed, the following information will need to be sent to FACTS to complete the application process:
- Copies of your most recent Federal tax forms including all supporting tax schedules.
- Copies of your 2018 W-2 forms.
- Copies of supporting documentation for household non-taxable income.
All supporting documentation can be faxed to 1-866-315-9264 or mailed to the address below:
FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment
P.O. Box 82524
Lincoln, NE, 68501-2524
If a family has questions about the application process, they may speak with a FACTS Customer Care Representative at 1-866-315-9262.
Awards are based on the financial assessment of each applicant and known circumstances specific to the applicant. Complexities and unusual circumstances of each family situation are acknowledged and considered in a final decision. Awards are considered completely confidential.
It is important to note that PBDA may not be able to accommodate all financial assistance applications in a given year.
Families must reapply for financial assistance for each year the student is enrolled. If the family does not receive financial assistance one year, they may apply for assistance in subsequent years. If the family’s financial circumstances remain the same, the school will make every effort to assist a family at the same level. For families reapplying, an award is subject to successful completion of the school year for both conduct and academics and the family’s continued support of the mission of PBDA. Awards cannot be made unless the family’s account in the Business Office is up to date for the current school year.
Grants are need-based only and are determined based on the recommendation of PBDA and FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment. Children currently receive grants ranging from 10 percent to 90 percent of full tuition.
The financial assistance budget comes from private donations, foundations and grants, and the operational budget. PBDA recognizes the importance of economic diversity within the school community.
