As a school approaching its centennial year, PBDA values the long-standing traditions that have made us a “family school.”To help you and your family navigate the start of the upcoming school year with us, we’ve created a Parent Resource Page to serve as your go-to for all pertinent PBDA questions.
The school day on the Lower Campus begins at 8:15am for K-3, and 8:30am for Pre-Primary and Primary.
The school day on the Upper Campus begins at 8am and ends at 3pm.

Aftercare and Enrichment
Both Lower and Upper Campuses offer a wealth of after-school enrichment opportunities for children who are eager to discover and explore new interests. We also provide aftercare and homework help.
Uniform specifics for each grade can be found on our Dress Code page, as it varies by grade and day of the week.
Where to buy: Only uniform items purchased at the PB Boys and Girls Club and Aristokids, or online from the special Lands’ End PBDA Uniform site, are permitted.Learn more about the Dress Code
The health forms mentioned in the link below are mandatory before your child’s first day at PBDA. The forms may either be dropped off or mailed in before starting school, or brought with your child on the first day. All forms are required by the Florida Department of Health and will be kept in a secure location.Health Form Requirements
Summer Work and School Supplies
From reading and math workbooks to written reflections and SSAT prep, PBDA assigns summer work to Rising 2-9 Grades to keep them engaged throughout the summer months.

Lower Campus Athletics
PBDA believes in the power of movement. From the dedicated Pre-Primary playground and two activity fields on the Lower Campus, to the Discovery Area and playground in the new state-of-the-art Mandel-Palagye Education Center, students have ample room to discover the world through movement.Learn more about P.E. and Recess
