Advisory Program
PBDA advisors advocate for, counsel and mentor students, and act as a liaison between the Upper Campus student, teachers and family, assisting them in academic and social concerns.
Before the first day of school, all students – returning and new – will receive a phone call from their new advisor. New students will meet their advisor at New Student Orientation, held prior to the first day of school.
Advisors at Palm Beach Day Academy work to ensure that the whole student philosophy of the school is addressed regularly. They conduct weekly meetings with their advisees, and are available for informal conferences with teachers or parents upon request.
In an effort for a majority of the advisors to teach the students in their advisory group, students will change advisors each year.
