Achieve more artistically.
From drawing to drama, and painting to musical performances, the arts play a major role in the life of a PBDA student.
Because we believe artistic expression is an essential part of a well-rounded education, our curriculum reflects the role that creativity plays in developing critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Music lessons are available to students at every grade level. Beginning in 5th grade, students develop their talents in drawing, painting and pottery. In Grades 7 through 9, they branch out into electives such as computer graphics and TV production.
And there are multiple opportunities to showcase work and perform in front of an audience throughout the school year: the springtime Fine Arts Festival, an annual musical production and performances by the Upper School chorus are just a few.
